Usually, many people like to tell others they are a ‘spiritual’ person. The terms related to spirituality or being spiritual is being used quite frequently these days, but what is exact meaning? And how does it relate to our life?
Traditionally being spiritual signified having an attachment to religious values, or matters of the spirit, rather than material or worldly interests.
Shree Radhe Maa’s teaching says, “Spirituality is about an individual’s connection with a Spirit which can be a higher power like a God. And, we need to focus and concentrate on this spirit and energy.”
Why is spirituality important in our lives?
Our mind, body, and spirit have to be in harmony with each other. For us to function fully, all aspects of ourselves must be balanced.
Many of us, may think that being spiritual is a difficult and demanding task, but that is not fact. You can experience spirituality when you enjoy listening to a wonderful piece of music, looking at a beautiful work of art, or reading an inspirational book or poem.
When we are in tune with God, Nature, each other, and ourselves, we are spiritual. There are so many enjoyable ways that we can make, and take the time, to “connect.”

Become aware of your natural inner beauty. Be aware of yourself within your natural environment. Enjoy the colors and smells of nature nearby you.
- Express yourself through spirituality
Spirituality can be express in a wide variety of ways, often participating in several communities such as meditation group, yoga class, peace marches, and conferences.
At last, the practice of spirituality will ultimately lead us to inner peace, happiness, and realization of bliss sublime.
