Judge Less and Accept More

Do you judge people? It is one of the most hurtful things we can feel like a human being. Sometimes, without thought or notice, we judge people as a reflection of what we feel or think about ourselves. The fact is that when we judge others, we harm ourselves.

First of all, we don’t have a right to do with anyone. Each person is different from the other. Everyone can make judgments, but those who have developed the urge to grow should stop judging others.

A spiritual teacher Shree Radhe Guru Maa says, “When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself.”

Judging others reflects the way you think

When you point your finger at someone, there are always three fingers pointing back at you. Your judgments reflect the way you think. When the mind is on endlessly, it continues to make judgments about everyone and everything in the world. Once you start making judgments, invariably, there are only two basic judgments – this is good, this is bad.

Stop Judging and start Loving

When we stop being judgmental, we start appreciating people and things for what they are; we start living in the present moment, and we can simply enjoy life and be happy. However, what we don’t realize is that once we stop being judgmental, we free ourselves from the negative emotions preventing us from living a peaceful and fulfilled life.

So there is no need to judge others. You have to judge situations. When we shift our thoughts from judging to accepting, not only others but also ourselves, we can restore our happiness.
