Does man experience success through efforts or is it based on fate or destiny? This is one question that has been debated throughout the world endlessly from time immemorial without reaching any definite conclusions.
What is Destiny and Willful Action?
As per the spiritual science, destiny refers to when we have no control over life situations. On the other hand, the willful action is that portion of your life which you do have control over.
Destiny is a play between divine love and willful action. In that, half of it you have no control over, half of it is completely in your hands, and your efforts will show measurable consequence. Man is neither a puppet of the God’s nor is he the captain of his destiny. He is a little of both.
Who is responsible for your life?
Sometimes we assume that God is responsible for everything which happens in our life. It’s wrong. You are one who is responsible for it.
Shree Radhe Guru Maa says, “By our present deeds, we create our future destinies.”
If we are responsible for everything, we also have the power to change it. We can change our future by our karma. Suppose things are not going correctly in our life. We simply tell that it is written in our destiny, so what can we do.
Perhaps the right approach would continue making plans and taking efforts tirelessly while being prepared for unexpected results. This is what Lord Krishna preached in Bhagavad Gita when he said: “Do you Duty without getting attached to the result.”
