Have you ever given your important time to help someone, given directions to someone who is missed, given up your seat to someone who needs it more, or simply given support to someone having a bad day? If we try to look closely, we found the basic secret to greater happiness and success is to move from a self-centered world to a more other-centred world.
“No one has ever become poor by giving.”
It’s a fundamental part of Humanity. When you help someone, they will be more likely to help you. But if you help enough people and do many good deeds, it will be given back when needed. It’s important to understand that helping others means you are helping yourself.
Buddha says, “If you light a lamp for somebody, it will also brighten your path.”
Karma goes both ways-
If you do bad with someone, bad will come to you. But it works the other way too. But you are a good person and help people; good things seem to happen. While you may not believe in an inter-connected world that rewards good deeds, there is something to be said about how helping others shift your perspective. When you’re helping others, you will often experience better about yourself.
Notice the opportunities to serve-
It’s important to pray God who guides you at every stage of your life. He wants you to serve and realize what specific ways He wants you to help them. Always keep in mind that you can’t do everything, but you should do something, and God will help you figure out which moments are best for you and set appropriate boundaries, so you’re able to help in effective ways without overwhelming yourself.
“When we try to find our higher self and discover our unique talents, we end up serving humanity. And using your unique skills and serving others brings endless bliss and abundance.”
