Trust God when Life is Painful

Each day of your life is a gift from God, and He wants you to live fully. When we are facing difficulties in life, the first thing we try to do is blame somebody else. But if the pain you’ve suffered in your past is still affecting your life now, you can’t entirely hold the new life God offers you that leaves you feeling hopeless.

“One word releases us of all the weight and pain of life: that word is love.”
Remember that your Struggles always lead to Strength

Every problem in your life, big or small, is something God will use to produce more strength, faith and perseverance in you if you let Him! All your pain has a purpose.

The key to reducing your past pain is making choices that bring God’s hope into your life. Here are some options you can make to heal from your past and enjoy confidence from now on:

  1. Transform your pain instead of transferring it

Ask the God to break the hold that your past has over you and give you what useful knowledge you can learn from it so you can start moving ahead. God is much more potent than your history, and when you believe Him, God will begin to change your pain into healing and wisdom in your life.

  1. Overcome your worries

Holding onto regrets from your past will only lead to more disappointments unless you break the unhealthy cycle by releasing your sorrows to God.

  1. Pursue healing

Turn to the ultimate Healer, God, to help you heal. Seek God’s guidance for every step of your healing journey, knowing that He specializes in taking what’s broken and recover it to how it should be.

  1. Be grateful

Choose to be grateful for all the good gifts that God continually pours into your life. The more you choose gratitude, the less power your painful past will have over you.

  1. Overcome the fear

You can move past your fear into a hopeful future when you ask the Holy Spirit to renew your mind each day. Focus on God’s love, which drives out all fear, and you’ll experience more hope in your life.

God’s purpose is higher than your problems and your pain. God has a plan! Therefore, you need to look past the temporary pain and look instead at the long-term benefit in your life.
